Curriculum Intent
Curriculum Intent
To instil a lifelong love of learning through a curriculum that allows all pupils to grow, believe and achieve.
We aim to provide a curriculum that empowers and supports all pupils to develop knowledge, skills and attributes to become;
- Responsible, globally aware citizens
- Resilient, successful learners
- Confident, well-rounded individuals
Our school ethos and culture is at the heart of every child’s learning journey. At St Osmund’s we are proud of our warm and welcoming ethos, where all are valued. We work in partnership with families, our local parishes and our local community to nurture the development of the whole child, create responsible citizens and demonstrate mutually respectful relationships. Our aim is for every St Osmund’s child to gain a passion for learning, within our supportive school environment, through a curriculum underpinned by our Golden values. These values, along with the Gospel values, support the development of the whole child as a reflective learner within a calm, caring, happy and purposeful atmosphere.
Our children learn that,together, we have high expectations of behaviour, inclusion, equality and learning potential. Our children have the opportunity to learn through a range of experiences and events that feature within the life of our school.
