Well done on another great half term 4B!
This has been a very busy and productive term so far. I have been really impressed with how maturely the children have approached their work, they have all shown a great determination to learn and grow.
We spent an afternoon making breakfast muffins, an activity the children enjoyed very much. Despite all their hard work cooking, some needed a little convincing to try them and eventually decided our healthy snack was delicious!
I hope you all have a lovely half term break!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
What a busy term we have had! Well done to all of you for all your hard work, it's been a fantastic start to year 4.
We have achieved so much already. This term year 4 have engaged in country studies of Italy and India, explored different states of matter - using thermometers to measure and compare temperatures around the school, as well as designing their our experiments. We have been enjoying reading 'Pugs of the Frozen North' and have worked hard to use the story to inspire our writing. During story time, 4B have loved reading the sequel to 'Varjak Paw' - 'The Outlaw Varjak Paw'. Not to mention, becoming Romans for a day! The children thoroughly enjoyed their Roman workshop and look fantastic in their costumes.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.
See you in the new year!

Autumn 2 Pre-Learning tasks
Since returning to school, every member of 4B has displayed a growth mindset and determination to achieve. They arrive daily with big smiles and are beginning to become more organised, a great skill to master!
We have already made lots of progress with our learning, using equipment to help us gain a deeper understanding of our maths and conducting science experiments to explore states of matter.
The children have been particularly enjoying story time after break, where we have been reading Matilda by Roald Dahl, it's been brilliant to hear the classroom full of laughter as Matilda devises her intricate pranks!
