Curriculum Impact

At St Osmund's we strive for all pupils to achieve their maximum potential, by having high expectations and excellent standards. We achieve great results in terms of academic success with outcomes for pupils in KS1 and KS2 consistently above, and often well above National Averages.  Our children make good progress from EYFS and, by the end of KS2, do extremely well when compared with national and local results. 

 

Our stimulating, rich curriculum teaches core skills in English, Maths and Science whilst actively promoting all other curriculum areas. Our children enjoy lessons and we believe this early love of learning stimulates children to become life-long learners.

 

Our pupils will be resilient, active learners who will be academically, spiritually and physically prepared for the next stage of their education journey and for life in the modern world.  Our children will approach challenges every day with confidence because they don’t give up, are highly motivated to succeed and achieve and are equipped with all the necessary personal skills. Our curriculum enables children to become excellent role models and the very best version of themselves.

 

Pupils from St Osmund's will go out into the world and make a difference in their own life and to others, and they will show their faith by the way they live.
